The Agilent U5303A PCIe 12-bit High-Speed Digitizer with On-Board Signal Processing has just been named a winner of the 2014 ACE Awards presented by EE Times and EDN. This compact digitizer helps customers develop technologies for high-end applications such as medical imaging, environmental monitoring, analytical time-of-flight, ultrasonic nondestructive testing and radar.
“The ACE Awards celebrate the highest achievements in innovation and creativity in electronics design,” says Patrick Mannion of UBM Tech Electronics. “Selecting one organization or individual that stands out above the rest is incredibly challenging. We are pleased to be able to celebrate their achievements.”
Agilent was named a winner under “Ultimate Product – (Test and Measurement Systems and Boards).” ACE Awards are judged by industry experts, comprised of the leading voices of academia, industry executives and content experts.
Meanwhile, Electronic Component News has announced the list of finalists for its 2014 ECN IMPACT Awards. These awards celebrate electronic design engineering excellence for products, services and industry contributions to education and green technology. Agilent has been named as a finalist in three categories.
The Agilent U5303A is recognized under “Boards, Modules and Embedded Systems.” The Agilent U5340A FPGA Development Kit for High-Speed Digitizers is recognized under “Tools, Kits and Reference Designs.” (An FPGA, or field-programmable gate array, is an integrated circuit that can be programmed after manufacturing.) This development kit is a software tool that is used with the U5303A.
The Agilent x1149 Boundary Scan Analyzer is recognized under “Test and Measurement.” This versatile instrument helps engineers with board design and validation, all the way to high-volume manufacturing.
“This year’s finalists represent the best technologies, tools and services across the electronics OEM,” says ECN Publisher Mike Francesconi. “The ECN IMPACT Awards program is proud to commemorate these market differentiators that have brought award-winning technology to a very competitive industry.” Award winners will be announced on May 6, 2014.
In January, Agilent products won in three categories of EDN’s 2014 Best in Test Awards.
