The Analytical Scientist has selected Agilent’s newly released 1260 Infinity Automated LC/MS Purification System as a winner in the magazine’s 2013 Innovation Awards. Agilent’s automated solution, which builds on ultra-high performance liquid chromatography/mass spectrometer detection, was cited as one of 15 transformative technologies introduced in 2013 for its ability to synthesize pure compounds quickly. The product, introduced in December 2013, is a scalable, workflow-focused solution for drug discovery and agrochemical research.
A second Agilent product, the GC-MS Inert Flow Path Solutions also received an innovation award.
The Analytical Scientist Innovation Awards highlight the range and pace of progress in the life sciences field.
