Agilent Helps Upgrade University of Washington Teaching Lab

Agilent and the University of Washington have announced they will work together to upgrade a laboratory in the school’s Electrical Engineering Department with Agilent’s industry-leading electronic test equipment, including twelve Agilent 350-MHz touch-screen digital oscilloscopes with four analog and 16 digital channels.

The Agilent InfiniiVision 4000 X-Series oscilloscopes are valuable tools for advanced teaching and instructional laboratories. Courses taught in the univeristy’s Embedded Systems Laboratories provide an environment for students to learn about and to practice solving the challenging design, debug and test problems that have become routine in industry.

“Agilent is delighted to work with the faculty at the University of Washington’s electrical engineering department to help establish advanced learning opportunities for future engineers,” said Bill Wallace, director of university development at Agilent.
