Agilent Makes a Difference at Remote China School

A group of Agilent China volunteers and their families recently paid their third annual visit to the Agilent Hope School to show support for the Sichuan Province school that was badly damaged in the 2008 earthquake and rebuilt later with donations from Agilent China employees and the Agilent Technologies Foundation.

The volunteers brought donations of school supplies and other materials needed at the school which is so remote that most students take more than two hours to walk to and from school each day. The event included Agilent After School experiments, games created by the volunteers for younger students, and a traditional Chinese course designed for students at different ages.
